   Higher scale freshman housing option with nicer rooms and a larger space than traditional dorms.

   I would say it’s great it you’re a little more of an independent person and don’t really want the typical “dorm” but still having some of those traditional elements. You only have to share your bathroom with 4 other people, rather than 20 and still is really easy to socialize if that’s what you want!

   Pros

   • I loved the layout of the suites, and having my own room was one of the biggest anxieties I had coming into college, so that was my favorite part!
   • Also only 10 girls in each suite, they were a good size and we had a huge bathroom
   • A full size kitchen and living area

   Cons

   • It was somewhat on the pricier side for housing options (because of the amenities available/single rooms) but it was well worth it.

   This dorm was small and filthy.

   It was nice having my own room but not having the hall-like dorm experience kinda sucked.

   Pros

   • I had my own room so I didn’t have to deal with a roommate

   Cons

   • It was extremely filthy and old
   • They ended up getting torn down the next year when a hurricane damaged some of them

   this housing option was demolished after hurricane Florence

   Pros

   • own bedroom with living area shared with 3 other people
   • more independence than traditional dorms
